Kerry Von Erich Children: Meet Lacey Von Erich and Hollie Adkisson

Kerry Gene Adkisson better known by his ring name Kerry Von Erich was an American professional wrestler. He was part of the Von Erich family of professional wrestlers.

He is best known for his time with his father’s promotion World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW), where he spent eleven years of his career, and his time in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), under the ring name The Texas Tornado.

Adkisson held forty championships in various promotions during his career. Among other accolades, he was a one-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, and four-time WCWA World Heavyweight Champion, making him an overall five-time world champion and one-time WWF Intercontinental Champion.

Kerry’s final match took place on February 12, 1993. It was a tag team match in the GWF at the Sportatorium on which Kerry and Chris Adams lost via disqualification to Johnny Mantell and Black Bart.

Kerry was married on June 18, 1983, to Catherine “Cathy” Murray.[19] Together they have two daughters: Hollie Brooke (born September 19, 1984)[20] and Lacey Dawn (born July 17, 1986). Hollie tends to keep her private life away from the media but Lacey followed his dad’s path.

Lacey Dawn Adkisson was previously with World Wrestling Entertainment and Total Nonstop Action (TNA) where she was a former TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion. She retired in 2010.

She signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in August 2007. She was assigned to their then-developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) in Tampa, Florida, and became the first third generation wrestler from the Von Erich family.

She made her debut for FCW on September 15, managing Billy Kidman under the ring name “Lacey Von Erich”. On September 25, Von Erich then appeared as the valet for Ryan O’Reilly along with Maryse Ouellet. On October 9, Von Erich made her in-ring debut in a loss against Nattie Neidhart.

On October 23, Von Erich managed Victoria Crawford in her match against Nicole Bella, and the following month at the November 13 television tapings, Von Erich teamed with Neidhart and Maryse Ouellet in a loss to Crawford and The Bella Twins. Von Erich was then released from her development contract in late 2007.
